The roll handling equipment with the sideways rotation vertical spindle attachment from Packline allows easier loading and unloading when lifting rolls or reels of material where space can be an issue.
Once loaded onto the vertical spindle, and transported as required, the operator can rotate the roll up to 180 degrees to unload onto a mandrel which may not be parallel with the spindle. The attachment is designed to unload reels while rotated at 90 degrees from the pallet. (This position is not suitable for loading of the reels)
This design is suitable for narrow aisles where loading and unloading is restricted by a confined space.
Locking pins secure the spindle in three positions, however the customer is able to request any angle for these pins to be placed. This ensures that the spindle is secure during transfer, and at the required angle.
The sideways rotation vertical spindle greatly increases the versatility of the vertical spindle both during loading and unloading.
