With the implementation of the EU directive a tamper evidence solution must be provided for all pharmaceutical product packaging. There are numerous effects and possibilities to approach the requirement. Tovenca verifies with each customer individually the best, effective and also economical solution. We analyzed dozens of adhesive formulations and created a transparent closing tag that doesn’t require any packaging design change. Tested on thousands of different varnished, colored, laminated and otherwise treated box-surfaces, we achieved an extremely high rate of destruction or fibrous damage on the surfaces. An easy and affordable evidence proof that doesn’t increase packaging cost.

Labels With Laser Marking

All pharmaceutical products require variable data. Here, the ancillary marking is often no longer done using hot-embossing and thermal transfer printing. The demand for indelible variable data that are easily applied to all materials is also growing because of regulatory requirements and the security provided by laser marking. Tovenca creates ink and coating formulations that are specially matched to the laser system being used, thus enabling permanent laser-ablative or laser-reactive marking. The data is still perfectly legible even under extreme conditions and can withstand use in wet, rough, greasy or otherwise abrasive conditions.
